The Role as a Business Development Consultant: This is NOT a typical 'cold’ sales-based role. Due to the continued success of our client most of the role as a Business Development Consultant is inbound rather than outbound, meaning it is much more consultative. You will be working within a sales team to generate new opportunities from interested companies as well as generating new opportunities through using social media etc. Every meeting that you successfully arrange you will be paid out commission and will also get to attend from very early. The Candidate: Ideally the client is looking for a mature graduate (2015/19) who has some experience in either the digital marketing space or recruitment. Being a more consultative approach means that the successful Business Development Consultant will need to be very personable and have a high level of emotional intelligence. As with any sales role a hard work ethic is also massively important as the harder you work the faster you will progress.
