Overview
Basic salary £35,000 OTE | OTE up to £57,500 Our client provides world-leading event networking platforms for senior energy, finance and investment executives. This year they are celebrating their 10th anniversary operating in North America where they have hosted over 40 events since 2010. Their role is to add strategic value to the industry by facilitating access to key stakeholders and potential clients. About the role They are currently looking for a high-performing Senior Sponsorship Sales Executive to help them to grow their EMEA region. The role will focus on delivering new event sponsorship business and selling to your accounts, primarily through face-to-face meetings, but also via telesales and email proposals. You'll be developing excellent sector and product knowledge - and, of course, an in-depth understanding of your customers' businesses, so that you can deliver the right sponsorship packages tailored exactly to their requirements. You'll be an ambassador for the business as you will be attending industry events and conferences as required. The company is growing fast and expanding its portfolio internationally, so there may also be some international travel if required by the company. About you The role is best suited to someone with a great track record in event sales and a new business specialist. We're looking for a minimum of two years’ experience in B2B event sponsorship sales. You'll need the ability to plan for the short, medium and long-term and will have strong commercial acumen. You will be a strong relationship builder and a contributor of ideas. International sales experience would be a benefit, as would some knowledge of the finance sector. Training is sales methodology(ies) and experience using Salesforce would be a bonus.
