Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Rep for our Torquay based client. This is a mixture of internal and external Sales. They offer excellent training, and a progressive environment. This role would suit an experienced salesperson, who has worked in the Building Merchant sector. You must be an excellent face to face, and telephone communicator, with the ability to build natural rapports with people from all walks of life. You will be dealing with B2B, and B2C Sales, so must be versatile, and have the ability to tailor your approach. This is a permanent long-term opportunity. The business really looks after their team and has excellent retention. The aim of this position is to increase turnover and gross margin. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and driven to meet and exceed expectation. You will be someone who is focused on short term, and long-term future sales, ensuring you build successful relationships, in order to ensure new and repeat custom. Key Responsibilities Secure sales ensuring repeat and new business opportunity is maximised. Support with forecasting sales and coming up with strategies to maximise profits. Evaluate the customers’ needs effectively and build productive and long-lasting relationships. Following up leads, maximising conversion. Meet the goals set by the manager, to support the branch achieve targets. Research new accounts. Update the CRM with useful customer information. Give excellent advice to customers and upsell where possible. Report back to management, using financial statistical data. Constantly develop and improve relationships, in order to maximise margin, and grow accounts. Conduct regular competitor visits to understand the competition and build on the businesses USP’s. Ensure you use customer feedback to continuously improve. Organise demo days using suppliers, to drive footfall of customers to the branch. Drive key product sales which are fitting to the season. Seek out new product ranges, that will appeal to the customer base. Meet and exceed sales targets. Site visits.
