Sales Development Representative (SDR) Rochester £26k commission VR/02740R Our client is looking for a full time SDR to join their team working from offices on the Medway City Estate in Rochester. Main role: You will be seeking new business opportunities through outreach, prospecting and lead qualification using social media, email and telephone. By contacting potential customers, you will develop and cultivate relationships using your communication skills to qualify opportunities before booking meetings for Business Development Managers. You will demonstrate an entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to take responsibility for your own work and will be comfortable working to targets and love hitting them Responsibilities · Qualify leads from marketing campaigns · Moving solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson, and arranging in-person meetings, emails or phone calls · Following-up with potential customers who expressed interest, but did not purchase any services · Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs · Re-engage leads from current database · Contact potential clients through cold calls, email and via social media platforms · Present the company to potential clients · Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services · Build long-term trusting relationships · Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market · Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and sales team · Report to the Business Development Manager on weekly sales results · Stay up to date with new services and pricing · Maintain CRM hygiene Requirements · Proven work experience (minimum 1 year) as a Sales Development Representative, Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role · Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) · Track record of achieving sales quotas · Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) · Familiarity with Microsoft Office · Understanding of sales performance metrics · Excellent communication skills
