Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative, self-sufficient Business Development Manager to work for a favourite client with over thirty years’ experience in providing a versatile and highly sought after services. The core of their business provides International Express Courier services to all types of major companies and has also developed enviable capabilities in mail fulfilment and logistics. Under pinning their exceptional service is their own state of the art tracking and delivery monitoring IT systems. The role will be 70% new business and 30% account management To be suitable for the role you will have experience in most of the following Build and management of a business pipeline to ensure a strong diary of potential new client meetings. Close relationship with the Telesales team identifying opportunities and possible leads. Work closely with the local Chamber of Commerce and local business forums to build the brand visibility and customer base. Negotiation of charges based on company Terms of Business and strategy. Management and prioritising existing customers Working with and meeting company targets and KPIs. Contributing to the overall sales team targets and objectives.
