Customer Care Manager Burnley £30,000 - £35,000 Depending on Experience My client, a well-established Manufacturing Company, are currently on the look out for a Customer Care Manager to join their team. The incumbent will ensure through personal intervention and management of staff, processes and procedures, that all accounts receive a quality service to a professional standard. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Daily management of customer care office - ensuring workloads are evenly distributed in growing geographical areas. Provide support and further development to department staff. Working to, and developing existing / new processes. Recruitment and training of new staff. Use of ERP reports to monitor shipments of sales orders. Attend daily department meeting for updates on production issues, machinery, raw material problems affecting orders. Key account and geographical customer management: Internal management or defined "Customer Care Accounts" Order entry, order progressing. Quotation preparation, quotation progressing. Resolving delivery and after sales issues Providing general support to Regional Sales Managers. Attending customer meetings on occasion. Liaison with internal departments, attend operational meetings as and where required. Management of intercompany enquiries and orders. Sign off and monitor of credit requests arising from Sales and Customer Care issues. Attend Sales meetings as required to stay informed of changes / new developments Keep up to date on industry and product changes both existing and new. Complete and update Employee performance evaluations. The overriding task of the Customer Care Manager is to significantly improve the effectiveness and productivity of the Customer Care Department as a whole. The Customer Care Manager will be responsible for setting key performance indicators for staff activities and customer interactions and for ensuring improvements year on year The ideal candidate will have proven experience working in a customer service position within a manufacturing environment, with excellent knowledge of the latest industry trends and techniques. In addition to being an excellent communicator (written and verbal), you will also demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
