Selling sponsorship across the event portfolio which covers Europe, the US, Asia and South America, you will also be responsible for the flagship event which attracts delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors from around the world. Role Specification: Seek out new opportunities and establish a footprint in new markets that add value to the global portfolio Working with global banks and financial institutions, system suppliers, vendors, technology companies, consultancies and start-ups, you will be an ambassador for the company and help to grow the proposition by engaging with decision makers Qualify selling opportunities and target markets/clients Develop and maintain a strong pipeline by proactively driving activity via self-generated opportunities as well as by following up on marketing leads Prepare regular sales reports including activity, pipeline, sales invoiced as well as monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts Candidate Specification: Prior experience of selling in B2B environment Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels A strong commercial awareness and business acumen Proven track record in generating substantial new business and consistently achieving target Be a true new business hunter that thrives on winning Exceptional networking skills - able to penetrate target market to drive the right engagement to win business
