Overview

Honeyrose Products Limited, a manufacturer and distributor of herbal cigarettes and smoking mixtures in England since 1910, is looking for a skilled Sales and Business Development Manager nationwide with industry sales experience to launch and promote our brands into wholesale and retail outlets across the UK. Your role As Sales and Business Development Manager, you will have experience selling and demonstrate a track record of success and over achievement in previous roles. We are looking for a self-driven and motivated sales professional who wants to develop growth strategy for the company; you will be responsible for developing new business. Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction Conduct research to identify new opportunities. Be accountable for the leadership, delivery and execution of the trade strategy in order to maximize volume, profit and market share performance. Promote the company products, achieve sales volumes, market share, distribution, availability, outlet activation and coverage targets for territory. Build long term relationships with new and existing customers Present the company in exhibitions and events Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, the product, pricing, negotiation and closing. Arrange business meetings with prospective clients. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Support new product introduction, support new retailers, provide trustworthy feedback and after sales support You will: Take ownership of the full sales cycle from generating leads, the product, pricing, negotiation and closing Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our products. Requirements: Essential You will have 3-5 years’ experience in new business sales, 3 years experience within an FMCG environment is desirable, as is an understanding of knowledge of the tobacco and tobacco alternative industry. Proven track record of over achievement throughout your career. Excellent selling skills built on trust and reliability. Proven authentic management and leadership skills, excellent communication and influencing skills. Understanding of the category and shopper behaviour within the independent retail channel Structured professional commercial selling & negotiation skills and techniques Proactive, confident, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude Educated to Degree standards.
