Copyright Infringement Case Executive Job Type: Permanent (full-time) Location: City of London Languages: Fluent in French Start date: As soon as possible Salary: £20,000 very competitive commission scheme benefits Are you eager to protect intellectual property rights? Do you have a deep appreciation for the adverse impact unlicensed content has on eroding the value of the marketplace and its wider implications on artists, photographers, and companies? Our client helps various customers (photographers, image banks, artists) ensure their hard work and standards are appreciated and accounted for. In this position, you will facilitate the settlement of unauthorised (copyright infringement) claims through both outbound and inbound communication. You will utilise your exceptional negotiating skills, calm-demeanor, and consultative approach to achieve a fair settlement. Amongst others, some of your main responsibilities will be: Utilise your exceptional communication skills to communicate regularly with infringers, legal partners, and vendors Time management and organisational skills to deal with the high-volume workload Utilise your discretion to ensure full confidentiality of clients Ensure company targets are being met or exceeded Monitor the settlement progress and know when to escalation is required in a timely and professional manner. Skills and experience required: Fluent in French and English Target driven with a commercial mindset A background in sales or customer service beneficial The ability to keep calm and to de-escalate situations if needed Strong customer service and admin skills Strong Excel knowledge Team player and a self-starter.
