Business Development Manager - Field Based - Telecoms Liverpool £25k basic OTE £50k-£60k plus car allowance Our client a growing Telecoms business has a fantastic opportunity for a field based Business Development Manager to join their Liverpool team. The role involves speaking to commercial landlords / owners of multi-tenant occupancy buildings, you will be selling full fibre networks. You will be supported by a market leading installation and project management team. Key responsibilities Target, close and on-board new Multi-tenant buildings Manage a portfolio of customers Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through regular contact at multiple levels from C-Level, to operational, marketing and sales Drive, upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your customer base Work closely with the Marketing Manager to enhance marketing collateral and support tools (e.g. Work with Marketing Manager to deliver our Sales Plan, also create a joint marketing plan for each building you sign up. Represent the company at industry events Work with our Operational teams to implement continuous improvement. Build customer advocacy in the form of PR quotes, case studies and external public speaking Essential skills Comfortable & experienced managing large accounts with autonomy. Ability to manage against KPI’s i.e. YoY growth, revenue targets, net adds Ability to deal at C levels Able to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders across a number of different levels Experience in developing account development plans Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM Suitable candidates must have proven B2B sales experience preferably within the Telecommunications sector.
