Overview

If you’re an experienced IT recruiter, you’ll be receiving messages every week if not every day. And yes, to start with it’s flattering, maybe even exciting. But pretty quickly it just becomes noise. Opportunities, teams and people that all sound the same. You’re not interested. And why would you be? Have you ever seen one of those absolute units on the World’s Strongest Man pulling a plane or fire engine or something else obscenely heavy? Teeth gritted. Veins bulging. Willing it to move with every fibre of their being. All while it just sits there motionless, as if to say "is that all you’ve got?" But then, movement. And like getting the first bit of air into a balloon, suddenly it’s a lot easier. They get faster and the momentum is easier to maintain. What do you think the strongman would say if you went over after he’d moved the thing to ask him to start all over again? It’s just like starting a desk The bit at the start is really tough. You grit your teeth and expend loads of effort. All while it seems like nothing is happening. The market looks at you with the same look the plane had. You’re banging your head against the wall when, all of a sudden, cracks appear. You start to generate some momentum, filling roles while taking care of your pipeline and suddenly it doesn’t seem so difficult. And I know that I’m asking you to do that again But I’m not asking you to go through that to get back to the position you’re in right now. I’m asking you to do it again to realise your development ambitions sooner than you ever thought you would. To start with a desk and end with a division. To be part of our journey and take a real share in our shared success. To work with us, not for us. Don’t get me wrong I want to see all of the typical stuff too. Like a strong record of success in sales and the resilience to be rejected over and over but keep getting back up. Dedication to the people you work with and the self-discipline you’ll need to achieve results in a KPI-free environment. Real, substantial knowledge of the sector and genuine interest. Above all, the ambition to rise through the ranks quickly and the drive to make it happen. Does that sound familiar? If that sounds like you, let’s talk. Start your application today. Here's what else is in it for you: A base salary of up to £35,000 - realistic OTEs up to/over £70,000 Rapid, mapped career progression with no glass ceiling to hold you back - hit the targets we’ve agreed together and you’ll progress. Commission on every placement - get rewarded for your hard work. 33 days holiday (including bank holidays). The opportunity to help build something - start with a desk, then a team, then a division.
