Overview

The Role As an Operations Team Intern, you will have the opportunity to work at the heart of this exciting business during our peak season. You will be responsible for coordinating our daily operations, ensuring our customers’ expectations are always exceeded and all our logistics’ partners are well supported. In doing so, you will be engaging with the whole LOVESPACE Team, from the CEO to the Drivers and everything in between. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is an excellent communicator, great at multi-tasking, a quick learner and excited by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Responsibilities will include : Manage the day to day performance of the LOVESPACE Fleet. Ensuring all our drivers are on time and following the correct processes at all times. Be the central point of communication between the Fleet and Customer Experience Team. Be the central point of communication between the Fleet and our Warehouse Network. Ensure every box is always tracked throughout its journey to deliver perfect data. Recommend operational improvements through liaison with both our Fleet and Warehouse Partners. Help drive LOVESPACE’s reputation through generating great reviews and referrals. Further details: The Operations Intern is a 6-month position, and this is a paid Internship. The working week will be Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat (Sat will be working from home). Hours will either be 0700-1600 or 1000-1900. The start date for this role is no later 1 st May 2020. The candidate will demonstrate and have the following attributes : Positive, confident & communicative individual who shows initiative and is happy interacting with all levels of business. Engaging, with ability to connect and empathise with people from all backgrounds. Fluent in English with excellent writing and communication skills. Highly organised, fanatical attention to detail, common sense judgment and a passion for precision. An unwavering desire for continuous improvement and innovation.
