Hayley Group are looking for dynamic and experienced external sales personnel to join this highly motivated team at their Leeds-Bradford branch. Job Title: External Sales Location: Leeds-Bradford & surrounding areas Working Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday. Additional working hours may be required during busy periods. Purpose: Working as an ambassador of Hayley and projecting a professional company image at all times. We’re looking for a results-driven sales person to actively seek out potential new customers whilst growing the business we already do with our existing customers. The successful candidate is capable of building strong customer relationships and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. They will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability. Main duties & responsibilities: Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned Generate and qualify leads Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships Identify and resolve client concerns Develop and maintain sales materials Develop relationships and liaise with our key suppliers Keep up to date with current product and services Prepare, activate and maintain a customer call plan Build a sales pipeline of customer and sales opportunities Prepare status reports, including activity, opportunities and other agreed goals and /or KPIs Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information or feedback gathered through field activity to your Line Manager Co-ordinate staff to accomplish the work required to close sales Knowledge & Skills requirements : Product knowledge of one or more of the following sectors - Fluid Power, Bearings, Power Transmission, PPE & Tools Good knowledge of the area and customers Professional level verbal and written communication skills, numerate Customer focused, driven to provide consistent high level of service Good listening skills Problem analysis and problem-solving Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptable/flexible Creative and initiative Valid driving license Proficient basic IT skills A highly motivated and competitive with a "can-do" attitude. Health & Safety responsibilities: Take care of own safety and that of others. Comply with health and safety procedures and instructions. Not neglect, misuse, and damage anything provided in the interest of health and safety. Assist by reporting to Line Manager any hazard, accident, damage or defect in order that remedial action may be undertaken.
