Overview

The role: We are looking for an ambitious and committed Account Manager, who can learn quickly, think quickly and take responsibility for delivering results. Ideally, you will have B2B account management experience, but, if you don’t, you can learn, as we are looking for potential as much as experience. You will become a trusted specialist B2B technology advisor to our customers, increasing their adoption of Aspin technologies and growing their accounts, with key aspects of the role being to develop trust, deliver value, identify opportunities and mitigate risk. You will play an integral part in identifying and supporting projects the Sales and Marketing team generates and will have the potential to progress into a future Senior Account Manager or New Business Sales role. Objectives of the role: Be a champion and ambassador of Aspin and increase revenue from your assigned customer portfolio by: Driving user engagement and penetration within your customer accounts. Developing and delivering account management plans. Creating and nurturing the ongoing development of an end-to-end customer journey. Demonstrating ROI to each customer. Reinforcing the Aspin brand. Role responsibilities: Understand customers' commercial strategies and identify how Aspin products and services help them achieve consistent growth, through best practice and market drivers. Pro-actively monitor customers' service usage, engagement, and ROI against objectives. Respond to customer requests, in an efficient, timely and professional manner. Provide online customer training to ensure the efficient usage of our technology, and to introduce new products and services. Network throughout your accounts, ensuring multiple touchpoints and regular contact based on an end-to-end customer journey. Identify projects and plan accordingly with the Aspin Sales team to ensure efficient management of each opportunity. Act as a liaison between the Aspin Projects and Sales teams to ensure the best customer experience is delivered at all times. Experience: A minimum of 1 year’s sales relevant experience (not necessarily account management) Essential skills: Ambitious, conscientious and enthusiastic, you will be a natural networker with a strong commercial mindset, always looking to deliver value, whilst increasing revenue, consistently, throughout your portfolio of customers. Positive attitude, tenaciously honest and professional at all times Target driven and commercial focus with a strong track record of success Meticulous and accurate recording of all customer interactions (on CRM) Customer focussed on delivering demonstrable value Ability to build trust and develop lasting relationships at all levels up to C-Suite. Ability to matrix manage and work across multi-disciplinary teams Great telephone manner with the ability to create compelling written communications Desirable: Experience in developing and executing account plans Sales training/account management training - ideally in Solution Sales Knowledge of wholesale distribution sectors and/or website/cloud technology
