Overview
Our client is currently recruiting for a Warranty & Service Plan Field Sales Manager to maintain and build professional relationships with all relevant brand Commercial Vehicle Dealers within the UK. Our client is looking to interview candidates based in Essex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the North East and North West areas. Responsibilities: Diary management to ensure all relevant dealers in your territory are visited in accordance with an agreed call cycle. Ensure that all dealer Sales and Aftersales Departments are fully appraised of product cover levels, system usage and claims procedures. Maintain a diary log of all Dealer visits to show when visited and what activities undertaken. Prepare and send a post-visit report to dealer management teams after every on-site appointment. Communicate on a regular basis with relevant client Regional Teams. Conduct training needs analysis for all relevant Dealers personnel and agree training plans with the dealership management team Confidently deliver relevant training for dealership staff. Be involved in the management and control of Dealership warranty claim performance and the implementation of remedial action plans where necessary. To achieve agreed and budgeted quarterly / annual objectives. Cross-collaboration with other departments to help develop and implement products, systems and processes to ensure our business is administered efficiently and effectively Attend all relevant meetings if required (both at client premises and on site). Additional responsibilities: Assist in the wider Approved Used programme initiatives of our manufacturer clients. To assist as appropriate in the Company’s management of credit control with respect to dealers. Monitor and track industry developments and carry out periodic competitor analysis. To intervene as appropriate in "goodwill" matters in order to resolve Dealer or customer concerns. Gather and relay relevant Dealer feedback regarding the structure and operation of the clients’ Warranty services. Liaise with various manufacturer field teams and provide support where required. Attend area meetings as required. Essential Well presented in line with working within a corporate environment Good standard of general education (GCSE / A 'Level or equivalent) Strong background in sales, coaching and negotiation within the automotive industry Strong external customer and internal relationship management skills are vital as is the ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks, deliver agreed actions on time and contribute ideas that will help endorse our market leading position Working remotely / field based Ability to work to set KPIs and success in achieving pre-determined sales targets within tight timeframes IT literate & experienced within Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Willing to undertake driving over long distances and nights away from home to meet business needs Evidence of developing / delivering business growth Desirable Skills & Attributes Strong sales skills Experience in field sales and route planning Evidence of developing/business growth Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
