Lettings Manager

Due to recent growth, Hancock Residential Sales and Lettings, a well-established independent Estate Agent located in a prime location within Melton Mowbray is looking for a Lettings Manager to join its team and assist the Branch Manager in servicing existing properties and attracting new landlords. As a Lettings Manager at Hancock Residential Sales and Lettings, your responsibilities will include: Managing the property portfolio to maximise office income, including the retention of properties and landlords. Attracting new properties and new landlords to help build the property portfolio. Managing all property maintenance issues including liaising with landlords and tenants and negotiating with contractors for works to be carried out. Arranging inventories, gas safety certificates, EPCs and all other legal documentation to ensure that all managed properties comply with current legislation. Arranging and carrying out property inspections, managing tenancy renewals and deposit negotiations. We are looking for a Lettings Manager who has the following skills and experiences: Previous experience working in a similar role within a property management, real estate, estate agent or property maintenance background. A full UK driving license due to travelling to properties to carry out show rounds and inspections. Working knowledge of software such as Jupix. You will be joining a successful, local family business who manages properties throughout Leicestershire and South Nottinghamshire.
