Overview

District Manager Covering Kent / Sussex Salary circa £40,000 car allowance The Role One of the UK's most recognisable and established high street names are currently looking for an experienced District Manager to cover stores across Kent and Sussex. You would be responsible for driving sales and business performance and ensuring all KPI targets and profit objectives are delivered across stores in your region, including Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, Canterbury, Crawley, Caterham, Gravesend, Bromley, Maidstone, Redhill, and Bluewater. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished retail professional to play an integral part in the company's ambitious growth plans. You would work with Store Managers to develop a strategic plan in line with regional objectives, providing effective leadership, development and performance management across the district. You would strive to deliver exceptional customer service by leading and creating an inspired selling culture within all stores, as well as ensuring high store operating standards are consistently met. The Candidate o Extensive leadership experience leadership within retail, ideally in a multi-site capacity o Strong communication / interpersonal skills, experience coaching individuals and high performing teams o Well educated with strong commercial acumen and highly developed analytical skills o Thorough understanding of financial reporting, including budgeting, forecasting and profit and loss accounts o Able to spot commercial risks and opportunities through financial data and observation in the field o Self-starter with excellent planning and organisational skills The Company A leading high street retailer of greeting cards, gifts and wrap, established in 1968, with over 400 stores across the UK.
