THE COMPANY: We are a multi national organisation specialising in Cheese and Dairy based products with a strong foothold across the UK across both Foodservice and Retail. We are proud of our ownership of several leading brands and of our heritage within the cheese and dairy products sector. Within both retail and foodservice are brands are leaders in their field, but also are of a recognised and unique nature. Although FMCG/Retail is a strong area for our company, we are also extremely passionate about our presence within the Foodservice sector and feel that this is an exciting potential growth area for our brands. As a result, we are seeking to develop our Foodservice team in 2020 with the addition of a Foodservice National Accounts Manager. THE ROLE: This position is a key part of our sales structure and growth plans for 2020, with responsibility to fully manage our Foodservice business. You will be responsible for inheriting established relationships with our Foodservice wholesale channel, both Nationally and Regionally and retain and develop listings within this area at buyer level. We are also looking to strategize growth within this area through strong networking and promoting our brands on a regional basis. We feel that we already have excellent relationships in this area, but we would like to promote our brands and drive volume further. We also currently have excellent Foodservice end user relationships, especially within education, travel and leisure that we expect the successful candidate to retain and grow further. However, we are also aware that there are several other unexposed Foodservice channels relevant to our product range which we hope to evolve in 2020. The opportunity to make an impact in this role is vast and we see this as an exciting growth opportunity for 2020 which we aim to fully support as a business. THE APPLICANT: We are looking to speak to candidates with a passion for Food and experience in sales within the Foodservice channel. Candidates with a proven track record of working for a Foodservice manufacturer will be of particular interest. Candidates will preferably have experience of managing sales via the Foodservice wholesale channel, particularly with the national suppliers. Candidates must also be able to demonstrate success in growing and developing business with Foodservice end users at buyer level - Experience with leisure, Education and contract catering end users will be beneficial although not essential. Candidates must be effective team players with the ability to adopt a structured and strategic approach and interface with other areas of the business including marketing and NPD.
