Overview

Our client is currently looking for an Account Manager to join their team. You will be working in a friendly, vibrant team and you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and day to day account management. You will be managing existing relationships and building on them. This is a business to business role that requires some form of office based sales or account management experience. The Role This is a busy role where you will be part of a small team. You will be required to build relationships and grow your allocated accounts. You will need to follow up quotes, up sell and cross sell where necessary as well as dealing with queries. You will also be required to ensure that all order and delivery requirements are met. This is role involves warm account management rather than cold sales. You will spend a large part of your day on the phone talking to customers. The Ideal Candidate You will need to have previous office based customer service and sales / business development/ account management experience. You must be able to work in a busy environment and must be happy to be on the telephone a large part of the day. You will need to be able to work to targets and have good communication skills. Previous experience building relationships within a technical environment is a definite advantage. This role could also suit a recent graduate looking to build a career within a leading international company.
