Area Sales Manager - Modular Accommodation Job Title: Area Sales Manager - Modular Accommodation Industry Sector: Modular Buildings, MMC System, Off-Site Construction, Residential, Construction, Education, Healthcare Area to be covered: North London & Northern Home Counties or South West Remuneration: £45,000-£55,000 Neg. up to £50,000 commission Benefits: Car or Car Allowance comprehensive benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager Modular Accommodation will involve: Field sales position selling large modular complexes, typically 15-75 bays, minimum order value of £500,000 Selling into and winning framework agreements with main contractors, design & building contractors etc. 80% new business development position, 20% managing existing customers Tasked with achieving £10m turnover target Average order value is between £1m-£3m, but can go up to £10m Typically 3-6 months from enquiry to delivery Large modular complexes can be made up of any number of bays as each large modular complex is completely bespoke in respect of m2 You will be required to advise on layout of modular buildings based upon the required footprint (e.g. double story / partial double story etc) and convey customer requirements to design, and commercial management via bid launch process Fantastic internal support for assistance with tenders and bids, as well as telesales generated leads Targeting projects within residential, education and healthcare end users Small proportion of time will be spent on construction sites, some site surveys may also be required The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager Modular Accommodation with: Proven field sales achievement of £5m-£7m per annum within the construction industry Must have previously sold into and won framework agreements with main contractors and building contractors Ideally modular accommodation industry field sales experience, may consider other off-site construction field sales experience Commercially aware Ability to quote/ price jobs and understand site surveys Ability to close deals Hunger/ appetite for new business Ideally good knowledge of the construction, residential, educational and healthcare sectors The Company: Est. 20 Years Nationwide presence Privately held 100 employees Please contact Paul, Lee or Simon from Mitchell Maguire for an immediate interview.
