Overview

My client specialises in premium bespoke home improvements and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Showroom Manager to join our dynamic team in the flagship Chelsea showroom. This permanent position offers a £21,000-£23,500 basic salary plus benefits and is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with all areas of retail Store Management, to assist with the design and production of exciting projects for customers and helping the team to achieve set KPI’s and targets while maintaining company values. This exciting position offers opportunities to progress into a higher role. Key Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to; Support the Cluster Showroom Manager in managing, motivating and developing the showroom team to ensure that targets are exceeded as well as acting as a role model by displaying professional behaviours. Assist the Cluster Showroom Manager in analysing KPI data to make informed decisions and drive sales. Actively develop sales opportunities through all channels – consumer, painters, interior designers, architects. Work with the Cluster Showroom Manager to create viable partnerships, sponsorships and showroom/brand exposure opportunities in the local community. Assist the Cluster Showroom Manager to organise and monitor showroom maintenance and refits as required, ensuring a commercial approach is taken. Responsible for opening and closing the showroom, covering in case of absence, ability to be on site in the event of an emergency. Actively support the Cluster Showroom Manager to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. Key attributes of any successful candidate; Have an eye for design and a passion for colour. Proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals. Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills. A background in design/interiors/creative industry is desirable. Commercially minded. You will be a strong team player who is confident and proactive with ideas that generate new business.
