Overview
A global events organiser is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join them in their fantastically located Central London offices. As BD Manager you will be responsible for selling integrated and multi-channel sponsorship packages across our client's large-scale, flagship EMEA and North America events portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to join a friendly, driven team in an organisation that offers exciting travel opportunities, a truly international client base, focused training and development and uncapped commission Responsibilities: Create a sales plan for the EMEA and NAM territories Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients Keep up to date with industry news and trends Provide a high level of customer service at all times, ensure you are in regular communication with your key clients Write great proposals, using the available resources and the information gathered through client research and interaction Candidate Specification: Sponsorship sales experience from events or media background A consultative sales approach and competency handling complex briefs Excellent interpersonal skills Proven track record in consistently high call rates Good organisational and time management skills Strong sense of customer service and client management Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate technical information to all audiences Demonstrable proficiency in proposal writing
