Overview

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work within the health and wellbeing/pharmaceutical/OTC environment, working for an excellent business and a really interesting (and complex) account base. Our client is a highly successful International pharmaceutical business that works closely with multiple retailers, major chemist chains and independents. To maintain their growth, they require a National Account Manager to join and manage a highly significant pharmacy account, focusing specifically on their Health & Beauty/OTC range. This is proper strategic FMCG account management, developing the commercial proposition with a highly visible and important customer and activating all in-store promotional activity, working cross functionally with very high quality individuals within the business. You'll also have significant exposure to their partner brands - think of just about every name in Health & Beauty and OTC As well as taking ownership for the account, you will manage an embedded National Account Executive taking elements of the day to day running of the account ie new line forms etc. We need an experienced National Account Manager who is looking to step up to this challenging and highly varied role. Someone from an FMCG background with huge capacity to learn and develop and keen to make a move into this environment. The account is North West based (Manchester) and as part of the customer development strategy you will be in their offices at least 2 days per week, so we’re looking for someone within reasonable commutable distance. You will be needed in the South East Head Office twice a month for meetings.
