AGL Recruitment is looking for a Telecoms Business Consultant on behalf of our client based in Cardiff. The ambitious business employs a team of over 40 professionals comprising of specialists in broadband, mobile, security, data, convergence, and telephony, and is consistently recognised as one of the leading offices within the UK. Working in a vibrant office environment, as part of a driven and lively team with the support of the Sales Manager, as a Business Consultant you’ll be responsible for uncovering leads and appointments, qualifying client needs and working with the BDM’s to win the business and promote a portfolio of market-leading business telephony services. You will be engaging them in a business conversation and identifying potential sales opportunities through effective questioning. You will receive comprehensive and structured training that will enable you to focus on achieving sales and uncovering leads. As a Business Consultant, your main duties will include although not be limited to; Booking sales appointments for existing, lapsed and new customers to secure new/additional business Closing sales over the phone, Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS To be considered for this role of Business Consultant you MUST have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes: Proven experience in phone sales and/or appointment setting, ideally in the IT or Telecommunications market Enthusiasm and drive for success. Knowledge of the sales cycle, Excellent communication and rapport building skills Ability to negotiate and close high contract value deals. Self-motivated and a hunger to succeed. Flexibility towards tasks Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases Accurate and timely data entry skills Ability to sell and close business over the phone. A comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle. The ability to formally present and demonstrate products.
