Your main responsibilities will be to work on Food & Drink Expo, which is the leading UK event for this sector and is a must attend event for companies looking to promote their products to the whole spectrum of the UK food & drink market. Buyers and decision makers across the industry, from grocery, wholesale, speciality retail, foodservice and manufacturing will converge to uncover the hottest trends, latest product launches and the industries vision for the future. These opportunities do not come along very often and we are looking for an individual with the right attitude, drive and determination to exceed personal revenues and work as an integral part of a team of hungry sales people. The Role Based in our West Sussex office and reporting to the Commercial Manager, we are seeking a sales driven, ambitious individual who will drive the continued growth we have experienced within this department. We have ambitious plans, so the individual joining us will need to match and exceed that desire. The responsibility and focus of a Senior Sales Executive is to initiate and maintain contact and to develop relationships with existing and new clients in order to meet and/or exceed all relevant financial and strategic targets. This role combines telephone-based sales with increasing face-to-face activity within their territory and at trade shows in order to sell exhibition space and sponsorship. Key requirements Previous sales experience Media or Exhibition market sales experience Proven track record Professionally sales trained (preferable but not essential) Required experience and skills New business development skills Relationship / rapport building by fostering and development of key client relationships Charisma, Positive tone / aptitude for effective sales communication including strong negotiation skills Advanced sales approach Time management and administration
