Overview
Business Development and Key Account Manager required by our client, a global and well-established business with multiple brands. Due to growth, our client are seeking someone with good Sales and Account Management experience to join their existing team on a permanent basis, working as a Business Development and Key Account Manager to maintain and manage existing clients, whilst networking and building relationships with new clients, ultimately increasing revenue and profitability for the business. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the Media / Publishing / Conferences / Exhibitions industries, however candidates with relevant experience in Sales and Account Management from alternative industries will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: - Directly manage an assigned bank of existing clients - Maintain regular client contact and account management through regular face to face meetings, calls and emails where necessary - Become a knowledgeable adviser to all clients, building a strong market knowledge and providing relevant advice and suggestions where possible - Regularly attend events, networking and building relationships - Attract new clients through business development and sales, cross-selling across the brands where possible - Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets Key Experience: - Previous experience in a Sales / Account Management role within the Events, Publishing, Media or Conferencing industries would be advantageous, although not essential - Experience within a role where you have been required to manage a mixture of Sales and Account Management - Experienced in meeting with clients face to face, presenting ideas across a range of brands, cross-selling products where possible - Excellent communicator - Able to provide a consultative Sales approach, understanding the clients' needs in order to sell the most relevant and suitable product available This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with experience in a Sales and Account Management role, where you will be working with a portfolio of high-profile clients across the globe.
