Field Sales Business Development Manager (Construction/build/architecture) (Midlands Based/Southern based) - Field based role Salary: £25-30k basic, uncapped commission- OTE £40-45k minimum Company Car, laptop, mobile phone/ Excellent benefits Salary up to £30,000 plus 1% commission on all sales generated uncapped, value can be anything from 10,000 - 1 Million (High OTE opportunity) Excellent opportunity to join a growing company who are nationwide An interest in architecture, build, construction would be an advantage The ideal candidate will be Midlands based ideally with easy access to London. The first 2-3 weeks would be training in the office (in York) then the role would become field based. The successful candidate would be required to be in the office the first and third Monday of every month only. Our client is unique to their sector and have an enviable reputation within their industry. We are looking to recruit a hungry Business Development Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of accounts. You should be driven by service and motivated by success. The Role To make proactive contact to develop relationships and carry out prospecting and lead generation in creating individual sales pipeline. Enquiries: Follow up new enquiries made by existing and new customers to ensure that enough information Is provided to enable a quotation to be submitted. Sales: Convert target customers to new business. Enquiry evaluation. Understand the technical requirements of a scheme to enable a quote to be submitted Monitor quotes. Follow up on quote submissions to determine if you have been successful. Create own pipeline. Lead generation Arrange meetings with existing customers in line with the sales development strategy to ensure that all customers are aware of the ongoing products offered by our client. Be proactive in contacting existing customers to ensure that you continue to offer the 'personaltouch’. Feedback customer comments to sales management. Networking: Attend exhibitions as and when required to liaise with existing and new clients. Liaise with customers both verbally and in writing. Use social media. Meetings: Accurately and timely reporting to agreed KPIs. Where required, attend project/sales meetings to provide technical or commercial advice to prospective clients. Actively participate in monthly sales meetings. Management of CRM systems. What are we looking for? Great communication skills written and verbal Loyal and trustworthy.
