JOB DESCRIPTION: This leading Adventure Travel company are looking for a Specialist Consultant to join their vibrant and highly successful team. Here, you would be responsible for all customer contact - responding to and converting enquiries into sales, tailor-making itineraries to match the needs of each and every customer, dealing with any pre-travel or post-travel queries, and working closely with the Operations Team to deliver outstanding customer experiences and unforgettable holidays. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver outstanding customer service to both new and repeat clients. Tailoring Adventure Tours & Holidays to suit the needs of each and every customer. Responding to and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. Planning, preparing, and pricing tailor-made Adventure Travel itineraries. Having full knowledge of the company's range of products and destinations. Generate new leads from existing customers and proactively look for new business leads. Monitor and report the sales and customer service performance of your specialist area. Working alongside product managers and liaising with suppliers. Being enthusiastic and passionate about Adventure Travel sales. Using your ability to be creative, innovative and to 'think outside the box'. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The successful candidate will be passionate about Adventure Travel and want to progress in their career. It is essential to have strong sales & negotiation skills as well as problem solving skills, and being an all-round people person. You will be organised, with a strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and accustomed to using Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. It is highly desirable to have a keen interest in Adventure Travel yourself - walking, swimming, cycling, and hiking your way off the beaten track THE PACKAGE: Sociable working hours - Monday to Friday between 9.00am to 7.00pm, with Saturdays only on a ROTA basis Amazing discounts on Adventure Trips, and exciting work educationals A highly competitive starting basic salary of up to £22,000 (DOE) An OTE of £28,000 in your first year, with quarterly bonuses A friendly, fun, and close-knit team to be a part of Unlimited fresh fruit and refreshments in the office Cycle To Work scheme and childcare vouchers Your birthday off work INTERESTED?
