Technical Sales Support Specialist - Electrical Power Components - Milton Keynes - to £31,500 My client, a premier supplier of electrical power components, is looking to recruit a proactive and technically-focused Technical Sales Support Specialist to join their small team at their UK office in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the US based Executive Vice President, you'll be responsible for supporting customers across the UK, Europe, Africa and Asia. Your key priorities will include: To ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service at all times at every point of contact. To provide knowledgeable and relevant technical advice and support to all customers. To maximise the potential of existing accounts by understanding the customer’s business requirements, building strong relationships and anticipating their needs. To work closely with the Sales and Marketing departments in the US to identify new prospects, generate enquiries and maximise the potential of new business opportunities. To be considered for this role you will need to show that you: Can show success in building relationships with and providing a high level of technical support to customers and colleagues. Have the ability to maximise order potential and spot opportunities for revenue growth. Are highly organised with a focus on detail and strong planning and administrative skills, together with the ability to build communication channels across the business. Have the people skills, commercial acumen, energy, enthusiasm and creativity necessary to delight customers. and that you have a Science based education to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent, preferably with Electrical/Electronics bias. Background in technical sales and customer support within an electronics/electrical component orientated environment with, ideally, some international experience. Positive and engaging personality with the ability to communicate effectively & efficiently with customers and colleagues, inspiring confidence at multiple levels. Proven team leadership skills with a strong team orientation and a flexible and willing approach, committed to the success of the entire organisation. You'll also need to be highly professional and commercially astute, committed to providing excellent service and demonstrating the desire and drive to exceed customer expectations as well as being poactive and self-motivated, able to respond flexibly to changing circumstances. Conversational ability in a European language would be useful. Interested?
