Overview

Sales and Business Development Manager To £35k base, OTE £50k (uncapped commission) plus Car Allowance, and Benefits Birmingham The client provides business services to a customer base which comprises corporate enterprise, mid-market, and SME’s, operating across a range of sectors, and has significant long term contracts. They require an experienced B2B business developer to expand their presence, and the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities. You will also have an Account Management roles, nurturing and developing won clients. The role benefits from strong sales and marketing support, and requires a proactive approach to generating leads and opportunities via market and competitor research, and networking activities. You will need to build and maintain high levels of activity and a strong pipeline, and successfully negotiate and close profitable business. The approach is professional and consultative, and majors on understanding customer requirements and issues, and utilising the full portfolio of services to define and sell an appropriate solution. You will be targeting senior management decision makers in targeted companies, and BDMs need to be seen as professional representatives of the company. The role is field based. Candidates will have a successful track record in field sales and business development, selling B2B services and solutions, and identifying and winning new name business. You will be used to organising and self-managing your time in the field effectively. The company is expanding, and they can offer the opportunity of development, support and growth.
