Overview
In manufacturers like FMCG - Factory systems, conveyors, machines that make all sorts of things can either be off the shelf systems or bespoke. And if you can reel off all the types of systems that is needed to make a sausage roll or Grate cheese in an FMCG factory - then keep reading. The moment a customer wants to add an extra filling, or a different line, the current systems in place for that manufacture needs changing/updating or an entire new line. And you, the Sales Engineer will be the project manager that will be able to work closely with that customer to work out what is needed. That is one of the most important part of this job, being able to understand and communicate with factory managers, what kit they need in their factory. Taking that understanding and delivering it back to a close-knit team of engineers, to design and build said products. What I am ideally looking for, is a Sales Engineer with a good background in Factory machinery like that in the FMCG world, but not limited to, that can learn/develop and grow with a company that has a very good success rate in repeat business, but also - expanding that solid base. Or a Project Manager from this sector, looking to get into sales? Salary is open to a conversation, and your guidance.
