We are proud to be partnering with one of the UK’s biggest Foodservice wholesalers. With a heritage spanning more than 70 they pride themselves on not just their product choice and quality but their professional and personal service levels. As a business they supply a vast range of fresh produce, meat, dairy and bakery products into restaurants, hotels, cafes, schools, pubs, event venues and care homes. They now have a fantastic, rare opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager to join their high performing and successful field sales team. Being part of a team of 7 you will cover a set territory and be responsible for managing and attending face to face meetings with an existing customer base as well as seeking new customer opportunities across the channels mentioned above. The candidate; - At least 2 years field sales experience - ideally B2B - Experience in a consultative based selling role - Food or drink background either into retail, on-trade or end user preferable though no essential - Be able to work autonomously and manage your own diary and journey plans - IT literate - be able to use Microsoft applications as well basic CRM systems - Good commercial acumen - Track record in a field sales capacity - Good influencing and customer service led skills - Enthusiastic, engaging and well presented The role offers fantastic career progression opportunities as well as a package up to £33K base salary including a £9K OTE, company car additional benefits.
