Vacancy Reference: JR1091 Role: Branch Sales Assistant Industry: Electrical and Lighting Wholesale Location: East Grinstead, West Sussex Salary: up to circa £28K bonuses Benefits: many benefits offered including 22 days holiday Bank Holidays rising with length of service, pension scheme, share incentive plan, generous staff discounts Branch Sales Assistant required to join a fast growing, highly successful company with branches opening in several locations across the country. You will possess an extensive knowledge and network of electrical suppliers and contractors along with the ability to manage high profile customer accounts for both new and existing business. You will need comprehensive knowledge and understanding of wholesale and distribution of electrical products in all areas including cables, wiring accessories, lighting, lamps, energy management, safety and security. Exceeding sales targets and building strong customer relations will be second nature to you. You won't need management experience but a good understanding of the electrical wholesale industry with experience in either External Sales, Assistant Manager or good internal sales level would be preferred. Responsibilities Actively increase sales opportunities for new, lapsed and existing customers Having an oversight of the branch budgets and P&L account to meet financial targets Ability to make competent decisions within a fast moving environment Meet and exceed customers’ expectations Providing an excellent service to customers What's on offer?
