Sales Manager -Structural Steel Decking Job Title: Sales Manager - Structural Steel Decking Industry Sector: Structural Steel Decking, Steel Decking, Steel Formwork, Steel Framing Systems, Steel Roof Membranes, Composite Deck Flooring, Cladding, Building Envelope, Roofing Contractors, Main Contractors, Roofing Contractors, Sub Contractors, Structural Engineers, Architects Area to be covered: National Based: Midlands Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 (neg depending on experience) uncapped commission giving OTE £50,000-£60,000 Benefits: company car OR car allowance and exceptional benefits package The role of the Sales Manager - Structural Steel Decking will involve: Field sales positions selling a manufactured range of steel roofing decking, cladding and deck flooring systems The majority of your time will be spent selling directly to main contactors, sub-contractors such as specialist steel framing contractors, flooring contractors and roofing contractors A very small portion will be generating specifications via and architects when necessary Mainly focusing on commercial projects Dealing with order values ranging from £10k - £40k and up to £1m Targeted to focus the majority of time on the companies new roofing deck product range and the remainder on developing the cladding / flooring product sales Working alongside the internal estimating / sales team Covering a national territory based within good commuting distance to cover to Birmingham 1 to 2 days a week spent in Birmingham office The ideal applicant will Sales Manager - Structural Steel Decking with: Must have a demonstrable track record in sales of roofing, cladding or structural flooring systems Ideally strong track record in sales of metal roofing products/ systems Must have experience main contactors, sub-contractors such as specialist steel framing contractors, flooring contractors and roofing contractors Ideally some existing relationships / contacts that could be utilised in this role Specification sales experience via engineers and or architects advantageous Capable of working autonomously and under minimal supervision Commercially astute, professional, organised Hard working, positive, driven and dynamic personality
