Overview
A leading surplus solutions company has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive with fluency in English and German to join their Lead Generation team based in Central London. They operate a network of e-commerce marketplaces that enable buyers and sellers to transact in an efficient, automated environment offering over 500 product categories. As their Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the sales objectives of the EMEA group. On top of being fluent in English and German, you will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision-makers is essential Responsibilities: Developing new business via telephone cold calling and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce the company's capabilities to new consignors Following up on leads and conducting research, internally and externally through news outlets and our CRM database to identify new consignor prospects and engage in a prepared discussion Identifying key buying influencers at prospect companies to determine their surplus assets, interest in their services, and documenting their budget and timeline Building and cultivating prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel to an appointment stage Scheduling appointments for the field sales team to meet with the prospect in-person Partnering with the Sales Team to grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals Managing data for interactions with prospects inside their CRM database, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached Preparing reports, weekly and monthly, to divulge appointments and contracts Responsibility for target achievement About you: English required with German 2 years' experience in sales, lead generation or telemarketing Degree calibre Relentless enthusiasm for cold and warm calling into prospective clients Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas Excellent client service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) Ability to work independently, yet also a strong team player Strong time management and discipline to govern working independently Sounds interesting?
