Overview

Business Development Manager (high quality sales proposals) Employment type: Permanent, full-time Location: London, Travel to clients around the South of England. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. Salary: £40,000 basic salary, £50,000 OTE plus £3,000 car allowance Due to continued growth and success, my client is now seeking a Business Development Manager with water experience to join their business. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the development of new business opportunities within the Energy & Water Services team. Responsibilities Creating new business opportunities and setting up meetings/surveys. Visiting clients (both self-generated and current). Technical understating of either the water network arena or new build construction market. Getting contracts over the line- BDM to completion of sale. Planning and preparing presentations (Powerpoint). Communicating new product developments to prospective clients. Overseeing the development of marketing literature. Providing management with feedback. Ensure all projects are GDPR compliant. Travel maybe required on occasion to monitor programme delivery progress. Any other tasks which the Director of Energy and Water Services requires support with. To be aware of the environmental aspects and impacts relevant to the work of the job holder as well as ensuring compliance with any environmental legislation that is applicable to the job. Experience/ Skills Required Business Development Management experience Experience with high quality sales proposals and commercial propositions Sales and customer growth experience essential The ability to manage multiple projects Strong business sense Good budgeting skills Good problem-solving skills Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Qualifications Educated to degree level of equivalent You will join a growing business, who continue to go from strength-to-strength.
