Business Development Manager, Homeworking/Remote, £40k, £55-£60 OTE. Our client, an award winning Independent travel management agency based in London are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a thriving company and hunt down new sales and help the company grow throughout the UK. If you have experience working in a sales position within Business Travel, enjoy working remotely, sourcing new leads and closing new client agreements then this is the job for you The responsibilities of the Business Development Manager – Business Travel Sector are: • Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers with the business travel sector. • Speaking to potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings. • Attending face-to-face meetings with clients to present and sell the companies services. • Grow the business by achieving and exceeding agreed targets and revenue for the company. • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities that see corporate travel as an essential part of their business. • Nurturing and developing relationships with current clients. • Business develop opportunities in target markets with support of marketing. • Providing specialist advice on the products and/or services you’re selling to the Business Travel Sector. • Planning and overseeing new marketing/sales initiatives to develop new business. • Attending business travel trade shows and in house training events when required. The skills required for the Business Development Manager-Business Travel Sector: • Previous experience as a business development manager within the business travel sector closing corporate accounts with a travel spend from 500K to £7million. • Able to demonstrate prospecting, fact finding, presentation and closing abilities. • Ability to self-motivate and sustain energy levels and stay committed to hitting sales targets. • Ability to plan your week ahead effectively and manage your own territory. • Enjoys working by yourself and own initiative to develop new business within the business travel sector.
