AGL Recruitment is looking for a Desk Sales Executive on behalf of our client based at Altrincham The ambitious business employees a team of over 20 professionals specialising in broadband, mobile, security, data, convergence, and telephony, and is consistently recognised as one of the leading offices within the UK. Working in a vibrant office environment, as part of a driven and lively team with the support of the Sales Manager, as a Desk Sales Executive you’ll be responsible for uncovering sales opportunities, qualifying client needs and promoting a portfolio of market-leading business telephony services. You will be engaging them in a business conversation and identifying potential sales opportunities through effective questioning. You will receive comprehensive and structured training that will enable you to focus on achieving sales and uncovering leads. As a Desk Sales Executive your main duties will include although not be limited to; · Booking sales appointments for existing, lapsed and new customers to secure new/additional business · Closing sales over the phone, · Using marketing campaign information to contact customers in a controlled way · Managing the CRM system effectively, ensuring all relevant customer information is entered onto the system · Ensuring monthly sales targets are achieved, along with other activity-based targets Candidate Requirements: To be considered for this role of Desk Sales Executive you MUST have the following experience, skills, knowledge and attributes: · Proven experience in phone sales and/or appointment setting, preferably in the IT or Telecommunications market, though previous success in B2B sales will be welcome too · Enthusiasm and drive for success. · Knowledge of the sales cycle, · Excellent communication and rapport building skills · Ability to negotiate and close high contract value deals. · Self-motivated and a hunger to succeed. · Flexibility towards tasks · Good IT skills including the use of CRM databases · Accurate and timely data entry skills · Ability to sell and close business over the phone. · A comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle. · The ability to formally present and demonstrate products. · Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Additional Information: In return; You will be part of a well-established and thriving business with the backing of a national brand and will receive comprehensive product training to enable you to continue to thrive in your sales career. Salary:£20,000 level dependent on industry experience and proven sales track record. Most importantly you will have uncapped earning potential with commission/bonuses.
