Overview
Do you want to work for a well respected, established independent retail travel agency? If yes then this is a great opportunity for you and be part of an exciting journey for one of the UK's leading tour operator & travel agency groups in their Mansfield branch. My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant who is confident in selling a wide range of holidays, packages, or bespoke trips JOB DESCRIPTION: Selling all aspects of travel, face to face, via telephone and via email. Being specialists in coach and touring holidays, UK, Europe and World-wide. Selling a wide variety of holidays and destinations, including luxury and cruise itineraries Booking tailor made travel itineraries to suit your client needs Delivering the highest standard of service. Offering advice and suggestions, to clients, using your previous, solid travel industry experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The successful candidate will have previous travel industry experience of working in a retail travel agency and have a real passion for travel and good worldwide knowledge. It is preferable but not essential that the candidate will be well-travelled and looking for a new challenge within the industry. Previous travel industry knowledge, within a retail sector is preferred Great travel product knowledge A can-do attitude THE PACKAGE: This exciting retail travel consultant role will come with a great competitive salary Tour Operator incentives 31 days holiday entitlement Company pension Life Assurance & Critical injury scheme Excellent hours: 37.5hrs a week over 4 days (9am - 5pm Monday-Saturday, Sunday 10am - 4pm).
