To support this growth, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to work closely with the Sales Director to drive the business forward in the UK, Europe, Middle East and the US by identifying new opportunities across the regions. Based in our London Bridge office, the position involves identifying new business opportunities in previously untapped markets and supporting the Sales Director to increase new revenue streams across our group of specialist job boards covering Audit, Risk, Compliance, Cyber Security and Data Analytics. This is very much a new business focused position and to be successful in the role, candidates will need to have a hunter mentality and be prepared to approach people by phone, via email, social media and at networking events. Professionalism and quality are key within the markets we cover. Daily, you will identify leads and qualify clients, draw up advertising package quotes and proposals, complete general administration duties, update the company CRM and use various in-house tools to obtain statistics for clients. Working directly with the Sales Director and with the full support of the marketing team, you will be a highly motivated and personable individual who is keen to join a small but fast-growing and highly ambitious global company. To be considered for this position you will need the following experience: 1-3 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment, Previous job board or online media advertising sales or recruitment experience is desirable; however, we will consider strong applicants who have sales experience in other sectors, Ability to think for yourself and map out a successful strategy for additional revenue streams, Must be well organised and able to take on essential information effectively, Highly motivated person with no problems speaking to clients by phone and cold calling prospective companies, Quality focused with good attention to detail, Ideally educated to degree level, however not essential.
