Overview

fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Account Manager -Trade, to be part of a well-established building merchants. You will be an integral part of the business, achieving annual sales and gross profit budgets for you and the Area Sales Managers and departments financial year. You will also have knowledge of building materials, so you can hit the ground running. This is a full time, permanent position, based in Cheltenham. Monday - Friday working every other Saturday. Up to £30,000 per annum DOE. THE ROLE AS A N ACCOUNT MANAGER - TRADE: To liaise with our key account customers and quote accordingly to win the orders. Collaborate with all departments to ensure the goods arrive with the customer on time. Work on decreasing our buying price by contacting our suppliers. To achieve your sales and GP targets in line with the agreed budgets Maintaining and increasing sales. Training and development for new products. Leading by example, by creating new business opportunities. To offer the highest level of customer service to existing and new accounts. Produce quotations within the customers time frames and needs. High levels of customer service at all times. Responsible for claim back and price support. To administrate low margin & high margin items Accurately quote and sell products to avoid credits and suppliers costs. Collaborate with the transport team on all deliveries. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: Strong negotiation skills . Knowledge of building materials - essential. Ability to build a rapport with customers. Computer literate. Exceptional customer service skills.
