Overview
My client, based in Tunbridge Wells, is a leading B2B publisher for the print and packaging industries, delivering focused and high quality editorial both in print and online. Due to continued growth they are seeking a Trainee Media Sales Executive to join their team. In addition to publishing market leading titles and online channels, they also organise a number of face to face events and industry Awards ceremonies. You will be selling classified, display/ online advertising and conference sponsorship, building excellent relationships and driving revenues forward. This position also requires you to be creative and look outside the box to generate revenues. Mainly office based the role will involve some international travel and occasional overnight stays. This is a varied and exciting opportunity for candidates looking to progress in a media/publishing role. The person we are looking for will need to demonstrate excellent sales skills and be able to work on their own initiative. Basic Salary is £22K - 25K depending on experience with an uncapped commission scheme. Commission is paid on an annual basis along with target based bonus payable on each issue. Hours are 9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday.
