A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a leading Media and Events organisation, to join their fast growing technology division with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence. As part of their fast paced, highly driven sales team you will have complete ownership, as well as the opportunity to project manage your own portfolio of global conferences and exhibitions. You will be responsible for driving revenue through sponsorship, developing new business and building strong relationships with existing clients to up-sell for future events. Role Specification: Identify and develop new business opportunities as well as nurturing existing relationships To generate new ideas for new revenue streams/sponsorship opportunities Implement re-book strategy Researching new prospect companies and contacts To project manage events portfolio; motivating the team to cross sell, working with the marketing and production lead to generate leads and close new business. Aim to grow current portfolio from Confex to exhibition format Candidate Specification: Significant SpEx / Media sales experience Consultative approach with the ability to devise considered and creative sales solutions Confident engaging with stakeholders at a senior level Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar systems Strong team player A confident and articulate verbal and written communicator Possesses excellent prioritisation skills
