Overview

This is a new business role for a Software Sales Executive who has previously sold any type of accounting software. The job is based between Derby and Nottingham with travel to client sites, but these are predominantly in the Midlands area and do not require overnight stays. You would be joining a busy software reseller who work primarily with Sage accounting and CRM solutions. Base salary to £50k with up to £50k commission p.a. on a £400k target. They are looking for someone who has a track record in software sales, and at least a couple of years' experience selling accounting software. So this could be Sage 50, PS Financials, Agresso, Coda, QuickBooks, Dynamics NAV, Xero, Pegasus Opera, Sage 200, BrightPearl, Greentree, Kashflow, Access Dimensions or the accounting modules of ERP software. Reporting to the Sales Director you will join a team of Sales Execs, Account Managers, Marketing people and Product Professionals. You will get some qualified leads from the marketing department but will also be capable of generating your own new business from scratch and nurturing new clients. You will enjoy client facing sales, and you bring enthusiasm, dynamism and tenacity to your work. They already have 1500 Sage implementations under their belt and are looking to grow this market and become the top reseller in the Midlands. This is new business sales for Sage 200; the company is recognised as an expert in accounting software. They can get Sage 200 to do virtually anything a client wants, and they also sell the full range of add-ons for Sage 200 including those from Spindle, Sicon, Eureka and Draycir. Some of the modules available as add-ons to the accounting aspect, are Bill of Materials, Manufacturing, CRM, Reporting, Business Intelligence, Sage Commercials and Project Accounting, so there is plenty to talk to the clients about. This is a great place to work and sell clients brilliant accounting software, then sell them all the other stuff. If you have sold accounting software previously you will be surprised at the positive response you get; CFO's and FD's are very receptive to Sage 200 and the reputation that the solution has, is excellent.
