Overview

Working alongside the sales team you will quote and price against incoming business working to SLA's and KPI's delivering customer excellence and fair price. Business Development Proposal/Quotations Specialist upto 23k with employer bonus Adecco are excited to be once again working alongside our reputable client, based in Preston and we wish to compliment their existing team with a new team member into their Sales team With a proven proposal, quotations, pricing experience complimented with some account manager responsibility within a manufacturing sector you will work closely with Customers and Sales to understand their requirements and produce competitive quotes. This will involve negotiating the best price to support Sales in securing the order. After receiving training, you will apply your knowledge by assuming responsibility for quoting activities whilst receiving support from a Manager. Work to agreed service level agreements and key performance indicators which may include quote turnaround time, sales targets, quote accuracy and other metrics. Develops an understanding of your assigned region, vertical and customer base whilst establishing relationships with internal sales partners. A great communicator and confident in dealing with customers (phone/email). Have an inquisitive nature and happy to have a commercial conversation with clients. Some office work experience - either in a similar quoting/buying/procurement role or dealing with B2B or B2C customers over the phone. Alternatively, this could be a good fit for someone that works in sales and wants to change their job role/career. A great teammate also with the ability to work form your own initiative. Able to think on your feet and enjoys working with numbers.
