Key Account Manager - Janitorial Supplies / Home Care Field Based Covering the Midlands & South East £35,000 - £40,000 Bonus Benefits Summary: We are looking for a Key Account Manager with experience in the Janitorial Supplies sector to join a market leading company to cover the Home Care sector across the Midlands and the South East. The is a Hunter and a Farmer position, so consequently we are looking for someone who is as confident winning and building new relationships as they are fostering and growing existing accounts. The Company: This business is a market leader, supplying janitorial and infection control products into the Home Care market. Characterised by their highly innovative and entrepreneurial approach to category and new product development, they are owned and managed by a dynamic, focused and highly ambitious senior management team. With plans in place for significant growth over the next 5 years, now is a very exciting time to be joining the company. The Role: The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Key Account customers, supplying both own brand and branded janitorial and cleaning products, medical supplies & equipment predominately into the Care Home sector. The role entails developing and implementing effective and collaborative growth plans that will maximise profitability and growth through existing and new customers. Focus is weighted towards new business development. As Key Account Manager, you will need to maintain regular contact with customers and attend regular face-to-face meetings, monitoring account performance and identifying new business opportunities. You will build strong internal relationships within the company, liaising cross-functionally with Internal Sales, Procurement, Warehousing & Logistics and Marketing in order to deliver sales and profit targets in line with company objectives. This is a field-based role with a requirement to travel to our offices in Peterborough as and when required. You: To succeed in this role it is ESSENTIAL that you have 3 years' experience of sales and account management within the Home Care / Janitorial Supplies sector with a solid track record of performance against targets. You will be a tenacious winner of new business and will have the relationship skills to build and maintain profitable client accounts. Your strong interpersonal skills will be matched by your verbal and written communication, and you will have the interpersonal dexterity to build relationships at every level - both internally and externally with customers.
