Overview
Fantastic new opportunity for a proven sales individual to begin a career in Foreign Exchange (FX) / Financial Services Sales. This role is ideal for someone with 1 year PROVEN sales experience in an inside sales environment that wants to get into the fascinating and fast-paced world of Foreign Exchange. Base Salary c£25,000 (Negotiable for Sales experience) plus a generous commission scheme which could see commission earned on a DAILY basis The purpose of the role is to research, qualify and develop a warm pipeline for the Corporate FX salespeople. This would enable them to focus on the acquisition of new corporate customers to use the FX products and services offered by our client. 1. Business Development & Client OnBoarding Business Development of new potential FX Corporate clients andAccount Opening: Developed through research and cold calling Qualify lead to ensure that the lead has an FX and /or treasury deposit requirement and that it is in excess of our minimum requirements Research additional information on lead - e.g. current dealing arrangements, business ownership 2. Sales Support Support the sales team with research & meeting preparation including preparing meeting presentations and packs. 3. Understand and verbalise the value proposition Understand what our client does and what different divisions do Understand what the Corporate FX team do and the value proposition Sell the reason for someone to deal with our client - understand why our client are different and articulate that to the potential client. 4. Generate & Attend client meetings for / with the Sales Team As skills progress, call potential clients with a view to setting up a meetings for the sales team. As you progress within the business there will be more opporutnities to shadow senior members and attend client meetings to gain personal expeirnece of the deeper sales process. 5. Maintain professional office, phone and sales manner 6. Meet and strive to beat specific KPI’s and targets Meet and exceed KPI targets around certain key objectives - e.g. daily calls, leads qualified, appointments generated 7. Research new leads and develop opportunities Research & upload new leads into CRM system Conduct research into lead territories and industry verticals CORE SKILLS • Motivated and hungry to succeed with a sales driven attitude • Tele-sales experience preferred • Competent computer skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Results driven • Attention to detail and accuracy • Effective time management skills / planning & organising skills • Hardworking and motivated to exceed expectations & beat targets • Highly professional and articulate.
