Concern Worldwide are currently recruiting for full time paid charity fundraisers to join their thriving team in London Join the fight against hunger and poverty as a paid professional fundraiser. Role: Street Fundraiser Hours: 4-5 days per week, Monday to Friday 10am-6pm Pay: £10.75-13 per hour (depending on experience) Concern Worldwide are a leading international development charity working towards a world free of hunger and poverty. In order to carry out their crucial work and to continue to fulfill their global mission, Concern Worldwide need to raise vital funds - and that's where you come in The Role: As an in-house street fundraiser working directly for Concern Worldwide, you will be working in teams of like-minded people in different High Street locations every day. Approaching members of the public on the High Street, you will introduce them to Concern’s incredible life saving work and ask them to support this work with a small but regular monthly donation. As a fundraiser, you will be able to strike up a conversation with anyone and will be able to brush off rejection lightly. Working outdoors, a good fundraiser is resilient, passionate, likes to challenge themselves and has a strong moral compass. The role is ideal for a recent politics, sociology, international development or social sciences graduate looking for their first charity sector/entry level role.Likewise it would suit someone looking for a fulfilling career change, or simply looking for a fun and rewarding job in which to grow their charity career.
