Role In London, there are always companies moving premises, growing their office space, shrinking it, changing it. Wherever there is change, there is business to be done for a commercial property specialist and it’s your job to find those changes. You’ll be based in the central London office from where you’ll be both taking inbound and making outbound calls to decision-makers across London and the South East. With inbound calls, potential clients will obviously be happy to share their needs with you - timing of move; locations considered; budget; facilities needed etc - and you’ll also need to find out that information when making outbound calls. Whenever you find a need for your expert services, you’ll need to probe to understand the requirements in detail and then introduce the ways in which you can help them. It’s critical that you have an outstanding knowledge of the 1100 (and growing) potential office spaces for your clients and then match them to a shortlist of the right ones. It’s a competitive market so you need to be good to make your mark. You’ll be helped by joining one of the best names in the market. Person The Sales Talent Matrix: Does this sound like you? Knowledge : 2-5 years’ B2B telesales or sales experience within the commercial property market is essential, preferably within London’s Serviced Office sector; you should have experience of outbound calling, not just inbound warm calling; excellent knowledge of London’s many service providers and their central locations. Attitude : Focused, resilient and hard-working, you will be positive, hungry and ambitious. Skills : Advanced telesales and face-to-face sales skills, including the ability to ask smart, probing questions to uncover new opportunities when calling leads; the skill to open up prospects to share information; strong objection-handling skills; excellent spoken and written English; outstanding personal presentation - dress, manners, politeness; good negotiation and presentation skills. Habits : Used to taking and making phone calls each day; well-organised with structured sales processes; happy working to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) without constant supervision; professional and polished in all you do. Package On offer is a salary of £40,000 - £50,000pa (depending on experience; more may be available for outstanding candidates) plus uncapped commission. With commission and bonuses available for hitting targets, you can earn £75,000 - £85,000pa in your first year.
