AxiomSL is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, age, disability, or military or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law. * Senior/Lead client facing technical consultant participating on projects in UK and abroad implementing Capital (COREP) and IFRS 9 Reporting solutions on the AxiomSL ControllerView platform * The successful candidate will be expected to work independently or lead a small team of Axiom consultants demonstrating business, technical and personal leadership, as well as light project management functions and serving as liaison between Client project and Axiom Implementation Leads/Head. * The post holder is expected to have a functional and technical background, on which basis they will undergo an initial training of 2 weeks in London followed by on the job training to gain proficiency with the AxiomSL ControllerView data management and reporting platform. * The post holder will also be expected to learn AxiomSL CRD4 BASEL III product and Reporting Data Dictionaries in order to demonstrate above to the client giving the right level of detail * You should be confident interacting with clients, eliciting requirements and providing the input required to tailor implementation processes to business requirements. * You should be confident assisting clients with: * The post holder will also be expected to share the business knowledge with the team members and assist internally with queries related to CRD4 BASEL calculations and Reporting Data Dictionaries * You must be able to work in a team environment where your role and contribution is dynamic depending on the needs of the project. * Be based either in home city or travel via secondment to major financial hub cities around Europe (UK + Continent) and participate in projects across a range of Tier 1 and Tier 2 banking and financial institutions. * Typical projects run for 3 to 6 months during which the candidate may be expected to spend their time primarily at the client city, with reasonable allowances for home travels. * The role is particularly suitable for those looking for travel opportunities and wishing to gain international experience. * Defining the business rules when implementing CRD4 BASEL III product Data Dictionaries * AxiomSL CRD4 BASEL III Calculations questions referring to the regulatory requirements * Testing of CRD4 BASEL III calculations and reports providing guidance on scenarios to be tested Requirements * Bachelor Degree or equivalent from accredited university * Strong analytical mind set and eagerness to understand and solve new problems * Good understanding of Capital reporting concept and EBA Regulations * Exposure to the implementation of the risk reporting when it comes to Capital (COREP) and IFRS 9 * A good understanding of key banking products - bonds, loans, deposits, guarantees, collateral, repos, reverse repos, prime brokerage, derivatives * Good understanding of clients business and data structures * Experience in implementing Capital (COREP) and IFRS 9 for financial institutions using regulatory reporting software / software technical maintenance * Knowledge of the software development lifecycles particularly Agile and Prototype approaches. * Experience with leading small to medium sized teams in a project environment * Experience in the usage of database technologies - preferably Oracle and/or MSSQL.
